Hi, and welcome to my world. I’m Elizabeth, owner and fully licensed solo aesthetician at Beauty Bar by Elizabeth.
It’s true. I’m a lover of all things beauty and have been since I was a little girl. Im so incredibly happy with my decision to turn my passion for beauty and skincare into my full time career. It’s an industry that allows me to be creative while making others feel amazing from the inside out, what more could a girl ask for?? With new beauty trends coming out every year, there are always exciting techniques and new products to discover. It’s like a dream come true!
After over 13 years of working at a couple of the best spas in Southern Ontario I decided it was time to embark on a new journey.
In 2019, I opened Beauty Bar by Elizabeth. All services are 1 to 1 and performed in my private home studio.
It truly has been a wild adventure but I’m so blessed to be able to service all your self care needs!
My goal is to make each and every one of my clients feel confident from the inside out – I truly believe the best foundation you can wear is healthy glowing skin. I want to provide my clients with a results-driven treatment and a lasting experience! I believe both go hand in hand to create the ultimate service.
I’m passionate about sharing my skincare knowledge and educating all my clients to ensure they have the tools to succeed and achieve their skincare goals at home. My focus is to educate and simplify my custom regimes rather than to upgrade treatments and sell extra retail that is not needed.

Goji

Balancing. Goji berry, the fruit of longevity helps to protect and rebalance the skin’s natural barrier function and also provides the skin with an antioxidant recharge. Suitable for all skin types but primarily those with the signs of premature aging or sensitive skin.
Ocean Miracle

Lifting. Equivalent to PRP injections but with the use of marine plasma. Wakame kelp firms skin, while hydrasine keeps skin hydrated and looking plump. Suitable for all skin types but primarily mature skin.
Vitamin C + Q10

Brightens + Hydrates. Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamin C stimulate collagen and elastin production within the skin, while squalane and hyaluronic acid hydrate and quench the skin. The intense nourishing power of the treatment makes it especially recommended for dry, tired skins and generally for skins in need of repair, requiring an energy boost.
Luxury 24K

Revitalizing. Equivalent to vitamin mesotherapy. An anti-aging multivitamin cocktail rich in 24K gold dust, vitamins A, C + E thus providing the skin with a boost of vitality and firmness. Also has a draining effect which reduces puffiness and dark circles under the eyes. Suitable for mature skin. Especially those requiring a brightening effect and immediate vitality. Also suitable for sensitive skin.
Age Defence

Rosacea + Sensitive. Combats all the signs associated with aging from the inside and out. It delivers specific active ingredients externally which strengthen the skin’s first defence barrier (the microbiome) while restoring the skin’s youth levels from the inside. PCA Skin Perfecting Peel

Shellac Removal

All shellac is not created equal. With the many brands on the market today I will not remove ANY shellac that I did not previously apply. Most shellac brands have their own removal systems. To avoid any disappointment please have all other gel or shellac removed prior to booking. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Add-On: ECO – Fin Paraffin Treatment

Eco-friendly 100% organic blend of palm, soy, jojoba and organic coconut oils, shea butter, vitamin E and essential oils. With heat, it delivers rich moisturizers that leave the skin soft and supple. Treatments are single-use. (Individual cubes are melted to maintain sanitation) can be added to any mani or Pedi service at the time of booking.

WHAT IS DERMAPLANING?
Using a medical surgical blade, dermaplaning is a safe and highly effective, clinically proven technique for a precise, manual exfoliation of the skin.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
- Exfoliating triggers cell regeneration providing many anti aging benefits and better product penetration.
- Removing this barrier of dead skin and clogged follicles leads to less breakouts.
- Improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage and dark spots.
- Results in a decongested, bright glowy skin that has a healthier look and feel.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING DERMAPLANING?
Your skin will be prepped with a thorough cleanse followed by an oil serum. A NEW STERILE BLADE will then be glided along the skin to remove any peach fuzz, unwanted hair and dead skin. A second cleanse will then take place to prep skin for the next step.
This is now where your custom CASMARA treatment will begin. Each CASMARA treatment ends with an algae mask. Providing the skin with a tightening effect, reducing inflammation, puffiness all while leaving the skin feeling hydrated, nourished and rejuvenated! We then apply Spf and you’re on your way! A hand, arm, neck & delcollatge massage will be done while you’re masking.

Depending on your skin type skin you may experience some slight redness and tingling during the facial portion. This usually subsides within a few hours at most.

Your skin will instantly feel softer, smoother and visibly more radiant. Depending on your skin type you may experience mild to little redness for a few hours or whiteheads that may appear one to two days post procedure (usually rare).
WHAT PRECAUTIONS SHOULD I TAKE PRE AND POST?
It is suggested to wait:
- 2 weeks before and after any facial waxing.
- 2 weeks before and after for any laser treatments.
- 2 weeks before and after for any botox/filler.
- Do not exfoliate (scrubs/acids/retinol) for 7-10 days before and after treatment.
AVOID for 48hrs:
- Hot tub, steam room or sauna.
- Place face directly under a HOT shower.
- Participate in activities that would cause excessive sweating.
Other contraindications:
- Sunburn
- Psorias
- Exzema
- Acne or open lesions
- Use of blood thinners
- Hemophilia
- Diabetes
- Chemotherapy/Radiation
- Raised Lesions/Skin tags
- Active cold sores
It’s important to hydrate & protect you skin post treatment. This will restore the skins hydration levels and keep the skins barrier protected. Please follow whatever detailed regimen I have outlined for your specific skin.
I always recommend the use of sunscreen to prevent sun damage and protect the skin. Especially after any exfoliating treatment. Sunscreen with SPF 30 or above should be used DAILY.
HOW MANY DERMAPLANING TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Your skin will be noticeably smooth and revitalized after a single treatment. However, treatments can be done 4-6 weeks apart.

WHAT IS THE PCA PERFECTING PEEL?
The PCA skin perfecting peel is formulated with alpha hydroxy acids and antioxidants. It improves surface texture, including fine lines and wrinkles, promotes a bright even skin tone and assists in clearing breakouts.
This chemical peel is formulated with mandelic acid, lactic acid and antioxidants.
20% Mandelic Acid – An AHA with benefits for enhanced exfoliation that has also been beneficial for evening skin discolouration.
10% Lactic Acid – An AHA that encourages exfoliation but also contributes to the skins natural moisturizing factor (NMF) and moisturizes the skin.
Indian Gooseberry – A botanical shown to reduce discolouration and visible signs of aging.
Silymarin – A potent antioxidant that has benefits for evening out skin tone.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
- This gentle alpha hydroxy acid solution will improve surface texture, fine lines, wrinkles while helping to promote an even skin tone.
- This multi-faceted and skin-brightening treatment is an excellent option for sensitive skin and higher Fitzpatrick skin types.
- The antibacterial properties of mandelic acid make this an effective treatment for acne.
- The level of treatment can be customized to individual needs as it is applied in layers (up to 4 layers max).

Your skin will be prepped with a thorough cleanse followed by toner to degrease the skin. The peel is then applied in layers and allowed to dry for 3 – 5 minutes. The peel is left on and protective after care will be applied to your skin (no facial massage). Followed by a calming CASMARA algae mask. We then apply SPF and you’re on your way! A hand, arm, neck & delcollatge massage will be done while you’re masking.

HOW TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT/CONTACT LIZ
Texting is the preferred and most convenient way to reach me as I’m with clients and in treatment most of the day. This makes it difficult for me to answer calls. Nonetheless, phone calls are still welcomed. Typically, I’m prompt at responding same day to most messages/inquiries. However, having said that, please give me 24 hours in the event I am busy or unable to get back to you that same day.
Please note: No appointments will be made over Instagram DMs or FaceBook Messenger.
CANCELLATION
I’m fully aware that sometimes unforeseen circumstances and emergencies may arise. However, I kindly ask that a FULL 24-hour notice be given to cancel any upcoming appointments. This allows me TIME to rebook your spot or adjust my day accordingly, as I am a one-women show.
ADDITIONAL FEES MAY APPLY (PLS READ)
Appointments 1hr+ are subject to a $25 feE & all 30 min appointments are subject to a $15 fee.

If you require a shellac removal with your manicure, please remember to ADD that at the time of your booking- as it does require extra time.
In some cases, services may need to be cut short or eliminated in order to allow the time. I will also try my best to remind you!
UPON ARRIVAL
If you’ve arrived on time for your appointment, feel free to ring the doorbell or knock! However, if you arrive 10+ mins early to your appointment, please text me. I may still be with a client, cleaning, preparing for your treatment/ service, or even on a break!
